Always use structured concurrency — never GlobalScope:
// BAD
GlobalScope.launch { fetchData() }
// GOOD — scoped to ViewModel lifecycle
viewModelScope.launch { fetchData() }
// GOOD — scoped to composable lifecycle
LaunchedEffect(key) { fetchData() }
Parallel Decomposition
Use coroutineScope + async for parallel work:
